In the heart of Oklahoma, the 41st annual Hyper Racing Tulsa Shootout, fueled by NOS Energy Drink, has kicked off with a bang! After two intense days of racing, the stage is set for an exciting battle to reach the pinnacle - the Golden Driller.
But here's the twist: This year, the event is starting with a unique twist - the F Features! Yes, you heard that right. For the first time in its history, the shootout is beginning with the letter F, setting the tone for an unpredictable race.
As we move forward, Race No. 210 marks the beginning of the C Features, leading up to Race No. 241. From there, it's all about the Qualifiers, where the top 16 drivers with the most passing points will secure their spot for Saturday night's grand finale.
And this is where it gets interesting! The Sawyer Chassis Outlaw D and C-Mains will keep the action going, taking the event to Race No. 303. With the heat races already run, we've seen some incredible performances.
Tanner Thorson, Jett Yantis, and Daison Pursley have shown their mettle, climbing from 10th place to take the lead. An impressive 31 drivers have won from at least the fifth starting spot, proving that position doesn't always dictate victory.
