A shocking statement has been made by Senator Faisal Vawda, suggesting that Pakistan's issues can only be resolved through drastic measures. Vawda proposes a controversial solution: executing a significant number of politicians, including those who have passed away.
In a recent appearance on a private news channel, Vawda declared, "At least 500 politicians, some even deceased, must be made examples of for the country to progress." He further emphasized that the number could reach as high as 5,000, targeting the top politicians who have governed Pakistan over the last few decades.
Vawda's proposal includes exhuming deceased politicians and publicly executing them as a deterrent. He believes that such punishments should be carried out openly, stating, "They should be hanged or shot in public."
Recalling his previous remarks after winning the 2018 general election, Vawda reaffirmed his stance, saying, "I stand by my words. I said then, and I say now, that a large number of politicians are responsible for the state of the country."
Vawda even suggested a specific location for these public punishments - D-Chowk in Islamabad, a site known for political protests. He stated, "D-Chowk is the perfect place for these actions to be carried out publicly."
During the discussion, Vawda also touched upon the 28th constitutional amendment, expressing optimism about the country's future. He said, "The 28th amendment will bring positive changes, and the country will improve. NFC and other matters will be addressed, and a democratic consensus will be achieved."
Vawda's comments have sparked controversy and raised questions about the role of politicians and the potential consequences of such extreme measures. What do you think? Is this an effective solution, or does it raise more concerns than it solves? Feel free to share your thoughts in the comments below!
