TORONTO (AP) -- Kon Knueppel's exceptional shooting night, including five three-pointers, resulted in a 21-point performance, leading the Charlotte Hornets to a 111-86 victory over the Toronto Raptors on Friday evening, ending their two-game losing streak. Knueppel's impressive display also included eight assists, while Miles Bridges contributed 15 points and nine rebounds.
LaMelo Ball, another Hornets guard, had 11 points, two rebounds, and three assists in 12 minutes of play before exiting the game due to left ankle soreness. Immanuel Quickley, on the other hand, scored a season-high 31 points for the Raptors, but it wasn't enough to prevent their loss. The Raptors had previously lost to the Los Angeles Lakers the night before.
Scottie Barnes scored 13 points and dished out five assists for the Raptors. However, the team's fortunes took a turn when Jamison Battle, a reserve forward, had to leave the game with a left ankle sprain, 11 minutes remaining.
